A National Motors Corporation (NMC)  National Motors Corporation (NMC) is a fictional United States-based automobile manufacturer headquartered in Detroit which is featured in the 10-hour television mini series Wheels (1971). The series chronicles the development of one of its models, a gullwing door sports car aimed at young drivers called the Hawk, under the direction of NMC Vice President Adam Trenton (Rock Hudson).
